CHOR IN THE COMMUNITY: LEHIGH VALLEY PRIDE FEST

We celebrated Pride Fest with Bradbury Sullivan LGBT Community Center in Lehigh Valley last Sunday. It was exhilarating to be in the neighborhood commemorating LGBT+ individuals and their stories.

In case you missed us, we will be at Reading's Pride Fest on August 22, 2021, from 1- 6 pm at Centre Park with our information table. We have exciting giveaways, resourceful materials, and a team of knowledgeable staff to share everything you need to know about our Specialized Foster Care and Adoption Program.

Kids need homes now more than anything. With the implementation of the Family First Act in October and the opening of schools and other social settings, child welfare agencies anticipate that the child abuse cases that were previously unaccounted for will now be reported at full speed.

Last month, we had to turn away 70 children alone due to the lack of available homes. Among those children were sibling groups, who'd like to be with their brothers and sisters while in foster care.

CHOR is an all-inclusive agency that respects unique voices and identities. If you have a heart and place to foster kids. We need your support.

If you have extra room and a big heart to mentor and provide guidance to these children and youth, CALL US TODAY AT 610-478-8266 EXT.435.
